Our Instructors

Geo, our founder of Heels Empowerment, started her dance journey as a child with Mandy Morris School of dance training in the styles of ballet, jazz, tap and commercial. Her passion for teaching came from seeing her mum, Hayley teaching at the ballet school, where she would help choreograph and teach from as young as 7 years old!
Geo progressed her dance journey at Rubicon Dance College on the full time dance course. After 2 years of training she then progressed her training in London at Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance receiving a 1st Class Honours.
In 2018 Geo found her love for teaching in heels. She loved how the style made her feel and wanted to share her passion with all women. Being a women I know how easy it is to be judged by society for dancing in a sexual way. So my goal was to create a safe environment for women to express their sensuality. Heels Empowerment now has multiple classes a week in Cardiff and Bristol and is now a team of 4!

Amber started ballet at the age of 3, where she trained alongside Geo until she went into full time training at 16. After two years of studying at Rubicon Dance in a variety of styles, she moved to Leeds to train at Northern School of Contemporary Dance. Having graduated with a first class honours in 2020, Amber is now a professional dancer and performer, currently working with Rubicon Dance Company alongside being a Heels Empowerment and pole instructor. Amber began her journey with Heels Empowerment as a client in February 2020 and she has been training with us since, before becoming an instructor in October 2021.
"My favourite thing about teaching at Heels Empowerment is the vibe/atmosphere in class. I love seeing people throw their inhibitions away and channel their inner Beyoncé. I'm passionate about building a fun, supportive community so people can let themselves go and embrace their sensuality."

Martha started dancing at 8 years old. She went into ballet, tap & modern/jazz at her local dance school. She kept up her training all through school which led her to study contemporary dance at USW. She got her 1st class Hons degree in dance and has never looked back.
Martha took her first class with heels empowerment on Feb 3rd 2020 and week after week continued to progress and found a new love for dancing in heels. She started as an instructor in October 2021 (after months of training and preparation).
Martha was never someone who saw herself as a teacher, but since teaching for Heels Empowerment her outlook has completely changed. She wouldn’t change it for the world. She has a new found confidence that she never knew existed. What makes her passionate is her love for helping others and knowing that people show up continuously because of the heels empowerment team efforts. She takes pride in knowing that the queens in her class have had fun and feel SEXY and EMPOWERED.

Ysabel has been dancing since she was a toddler. She grew up dancing at Rubicon Dance in Cardiff, and was a member of their contemporary and street dance flagship groups Nubrico and Nuworx, competing and performing in competitions and shows. She has done training in styles from locking, musical theatre to African dance!
After attending university in 2018, Ysabel returned to Cardiff and started Heels Empowerment classes. After consistently attending heels and commercial classes weekly, Ysabel was so thrilled to start training as a Heels Empowerment instructor in February 2022! Ysabel loves that people have seen her journey with Heels Empowerment and hopes she can inspire other women to gain the confidence and improve like she has! Her favourite part about teaching is seeing the genuine joy and pride on everyone’s faces when watching others kill the routines! She loves that Heels Empowerment is a safe space for all women and the incomparable sense of community and supportive energy! She has seen the company develop from its early beginnings and the effect that it’s had on people's lives, and because of this she is so proud to be a part of the team!
